Some basic information on The Indiana Wildlife Federation

Everybody should take a look at IWF. They are really getting things done. You may think of them as "Just a bunch of Hunters and Fishermen" A lot of them do love to hunt and fish.

They do a lot to help Indiana to be a much Greener State.

If you take a peek at their site, http://www.indianawildlife.org then you will see that they are making a real difference.

Everybody on here should consider becoming a member of IWF and they should be sure to get on their mailing list.  IWF also does a million unsung things for Indiana through their active local chapters.

Thanks for all the nice comments, we really appreciate it. And Wendell, thanks for your help with the last Habitat Steward Class. We will be holding another class this fall. As we pull things together, I'll post time and place information. If anyone has any workshops they would like to see us do, please let me know.

The IWF is wonderful! I will be facilitatilng a workshop there on April 26th for FrogWatch USA if anyone is interested in frogs and checking out the IWF. After the inside portion, we are going to to take a short hike to the pond and see what frogs are there. Look for more info in the events section.

this is a great and accurate comment by Ellen. I am a member of this group and they really get a lot done. They have a long list of accomplishments every year that directly benefit Indiana's environment.

They have not yet become active on this site, but in time I am confident they will.

Everybody should check out their site and consider joining IWF.

Hey, the IWF is a great group! I did a workshop with Jerry Wheeler, he has a great sense of humor, and really puts things in perspective when it comes to environmental issues, and wildlife issues. This is difinitely a heads up group. I have been a member for a while.

I have always wondered when or if we could educate the service industry that good service is NOT throwing more and more stuff at us hoping that we will get what we want, but having them LISTEN to the customer and give them exactly what they want. That, I [...]

Thank you.
