This photo was taken on September 14, 2007. And the water is not near as bad as one might believe...take it from a guy who remembers when the Cuyahoga caught fire (40 years ago??). Noli illegitumus carborundum should be more than a cute saying - a positive message sells. That being said, the caveat is not far from the mark...

I have been RIGHTTHERE in a canoe too! I am doing a piece for Waynedale Green Alliance right now about the St. Marys! I'll try to remember to share it with you!
