This photo was taken on September 14, 2007. And the water is not near as bad as one might believe...take it from a guy who remembers when the Cuyahoga caught fire (40 years ago??). Noli illegitumus carborundum should be more than a cute saying - a positive message sells. That being said, the caveat is not far from the mark...

I have been RIGHTTHERE in a canoe too! I am doing a piece for Waynedale Green Alliance right now about the St. Marys! I'll try to remember to share it with you!

In June, the Environmental Protection Agency proposed the Clean Power Plan that will “maintain an affordable, reliable energy system, while cutting pollution and protecting our health and environment.” Sounds like a winner!
