Harmony Winery of Fishers was featured at the free "Evening in the Garden" at Allisonville Nursery on June 7, 2012. They offered free wine tasting of five of their wines, as well as wine for sale by the glass or bottle. My friends and I really liked both dry reds (the Italian Armonioso and Cabernet Sauvignon), though we each purchased the Armonioso. I was also surprised to enjoy both of the fruit flavored wines they brought: Blackout (a blackberry Merlot), and Crescendo (a cranberry Malbec). They weren't too sweet, and I bought the Blackout. Now I can't wait to visit the winery and try their many other wines.
Many causes – pests, diseases, changing climate – contribute to massive bee deaths, but the class of pesticide known as neonicotinoids (AKA, neonics) is the leading culprit in this crisis.
