Great holiday entry from the Journal Gazette written by the Founder of WGA

Green him up

April Brewster Smythe of Fort Wayne thinks it’s more important to give 40-year-old Frosty a pair of running shorts than a full-fledged makeover. Get him more active, she says. And stronger.

A new ERA

Are the people ready for change in the United States of America? Overwhelmingly the answer is YES! With a newly elected Democratic President, Democratic controlled Senate, and HOUSE! WOW! If you cannot feel the roar resinating through DC, and the rest of the US you are not alive. So get yourself up from your bootstraps and change your community. If you are involved from an environmental standpoint, a cival rights position, or someone who is trying to bust through the bureaucracy be ready. If… Continue

The day we have been waiting for

Today our country will make history. Most likely we will see our first mixed President, or possibly a woman VP. What an amazing day!

Either way the anticipation mounts. We all have heard what they want to do, some unsightly mudslinging, and some words of inspiration from both sides. Who will win the battle? Hello, I'm Nova
I have been running an alternative energy myspace site for about 7 yrs now.
I came across this site when the owner added me as a friend. I am very excited about this site. For now most of my stuff is on myspace. I will be trying to move alot of the info. to this site over the next few days. I finally sprused up my page to look like something I would be running. So hopefully people like it when they visit. Hope to see ya on there and Have a great day.Spread the word out if you can.

Your friend,
Nova

Hello Chris,
You have done so much with your page. It looks fun!
Thank you for becoming a member of AGI, you are most welcome here. Feel free to make it your place and invite your friends to take a look and see what they think and if they would like to join.

Anyway we can help you or your work just let us know. AGI has a staff that is able to offer full support and assistance in environmental work and issues, community and economic development, advertising, promotions, web design, and programming. Have a question or a request. Dont hesitate.

The idea here is to support you in helping to support communities and Indiana as a whole to make the change over to more sustainable practices and equilibrium.

Besides the resource based environmental arenas of: Land, Water, Air, Energy, Policy, and Advocacy. There are many other fields that are interconnected to sustainabiity and the green paradigm including recreation, health/wellness, agriculture, building and design, community development, economic development, products, arts, and humanities and many more.

You can share your awareness and activities in any of the above through many facets this site offers and more soon to come. Chat around, friend up like minded individuals, post, blog, make groups, are just some of the ways in which you may interact and utilize this site to tool your work and passions.

We are all in this together and together we can help make things better.
Kootoss to you for participating in this great work!

Hi Chris,

Welcome back to Indiana. Thank you for inviting to be your friend. We just launched the beta of Indiana Green Pages. We have green businesses so far in the directory. We are starting to roll it out to the non profits as well.

I encourage you to create free profile for your organization. Please let me know if I could be of any help...
