Glad to see you joined the site. I can't wait to hear about what your campground is doing to be a better steward of the environment. There is infinite room for improvement in that regard.

I am also very excited about your nearness to the Amish. The Amish offer us all examples of how we can be a better steward of the land. It behooves us all to carefully examine what they do and to figure out how we can improve by their examples.

Organic farming, hormone free meats, lower carbon emmisions.......the amish have understood these things for centuries. The amish were not sucked into the trap of chemical additives and pesticides. The amish were not sucked into the unsustainable world of cars and consumption.

Perhaps you can help people find out more about the amish.

talk to you soon

Trashcans in the trash?

Renee,

Now that we as a greener Indy have shiny new garbage cans coming — street by street, one per (plus-or-minus) 100,000 households — please, what can we hope is our collective plan to recycle/reuse the (plus-or-minus) 300,000 unrecyclable and unacceptable old trash cans we have sitting in our garages?
