Dear Elizabeth, Hello! I’d like to mention two things: Purdue Energy Forum and the 4th Annual Richard G. Lugar Energy Summit on September 14th, 2012. Please visit our Homepage for more info or our AGreenerIndiana page for the Summit information.

Hi Elizabeth, welcome to A Greener Indiana! Since you're interested in living a more "green" lifestyle, you might be interested in the products we feature.

Our company Greenheat Solutions, is an alternative heating business that offers masonry heaters, EPA approved fireplaces and just recently Le Panyol Bake Ovens.

We also just started another business that sells Smarter Flush, a dual flush conversion kit that eliminates the ball & flapper to increase flushing power, reduce maintenance, conserve water and save money.

This week-end we will be at the Mulberry Festival, stop by and introduce yourself. It's always nice to meet others who care about energy conservation!

If you have more than 200 tennis balls, check out the reBounces recycling program. They will provide [...]

Brushing up

Renee,

I realize that not all toothbrushes are created equal, but are toothbrushes recyclable?

Sarah

Sarah,

Toothbrushes are made of at least three materials – nylon bristles, metal staples that hold the bristles in place, and plastic handles – which makes them challenging to recycle. They are not accepted by [...]
