I have been working from New Orleans for the past month and one of the things I have been very interested in was, "how do the locals feel about the effects of the gulf coast oil spill".
Once the well was capped that was the last…

Thanks Eric! I appreciate the warm welcome and your support. I have another RSS feed from my Examiner page, but I think will go with this one for now. I will get some original content on here from time to time, some of which will reference more detailed content on other sites. I'll seek out some groups here as well. I"m familiar with the Ning platform, but I won't hesitate to contact you if I have any questions. Thanks again.
Hey Eric,
I never thought I would say this but Damn I miss Indpls.!! coming here is reminder of ALL I've known & the memories, the people I have worked with on so many issues & organizations, the events, friends, family, familiar places & faces..so many times I've just wanted to pack up and come HOME! ah well, isn't going to happen and have only been living in Bisbee ,Arizona a year mid-March. Much I do love about this town & the mountains, still oh so much I miss..Hope all is going well for you and am still hoping for "A Greener Arizona" ning site.Though it is a very big state and I live in a very small town. We do have a lot of events,a nice farmers market,a small Earth day event but is all far from what I am used to!
The Maplewood School Garden Angels have moved from a 2 acre garden to a 7acre urban farm with in the city limits of Fort Wayne. We will grow 4 acres of green beans for local hunger relief efforts. We will have family garden plots for our Burmese ,African and Hispanic farmers. We will enlarge our composting efforts of leaf pick up with the city in the Fall. We are raising funds to buy an Allis Chalmers B tractor for cultivation purposes. We plan to grow lots of cowpeas!
Remember: Organic gardening is aiding and abetting Earth's beneficial allies with keen observation and eco-friendly detterrence of the usual suspects. E.Smiley
