That's right, it's like ol' Joe Friday used to say on Dragnet, "Just the flax ma'am."
Keep up the good work, folks!

Hello, I'm Nova
I have been running an alternative energy myspace site for about 7 yrs now.
I came across this site when the owner added me as a friend. I am very excited about this site. For now most of my stuff is on myspace. I will be trying to move alot of the info. to this site over the next few days. I finally sprused up my page to look like something I would be running. So hopefully people like it when they visit. Hope to see ya on there and Have a great day.Spread the word out if you can.

Thank you for the friend request. I enjoy your flax crackers a LOT!
We sell them where I work, and they rock. I'm interested to know what other products you offer.

Thank you for becoming a member of AGI, you are most welcome here. Feel free to make it your place and invite your friends to take a look and see what they think and if they would like to join.

What are your strong points in environmental awareness or curiousities? Is there a particular arena or field we could help empower you with? AGI has a staff that is able to offer full support and assistance in environmental work and issues, community and economic development, advertising, promotions, web design, and programming. Have a question or a request. Dont hesitate.

The idea here is to support you in helping to support communities and Indiana as a whole to make the change over to more sustainable practices and equilibrium.

Besides the resource based environmental arenas of: Land, Water, Air, Energy, Policy, and Advocacy. There are many other fields that are interconnected to sustainabiity and the green paradigm including recreation, health/wellness, agriculture, building and design, community development, economic development, products, arts, and humanities and many more.

You can share your awareness and activities in any of the above through many facets this site offers and more soon to come. Chat around, friend up like minded individuals, post, blog, make groups, are just some of the ways in which you may interact and utilize this site to tool your work and passions.

We are all in this together and together we can help make things better.
Kootoss to you for participating in this great work!

Cronkite’s climate warning — from 1980

By Peter Dykstra

(NOTE: This article originally appeared on The Daily Climate website, dailyclimate.org. Find it here.)

On April 3, 1980, Cronkite tossed to a news piece from CBS veteran Nelson Benton.  Thirty-five years ago, for two and half minutes – an eternity even then by TV [...]

Homegrown Hope

Pore through our history: we have grown up in trees, navigated by them, sat in their shade, and harvested for their fruit and wood. It is hard to imagine that 200 years ago, 20 of Indiana’s 23 million acres were forests, resembling the woodland states of the Atlantic [...]

“Food. Farm. Future.”

The invitation came in the mail. You read that right: snail mail. With a postage stamp.

On the invitation’s cover: “Food. Farm. Future.” … with three illustrations: wheat, a farm tractor, and an outline of Indiana with a thought bubble suspended above. Inside, a handwritten note from Leah [...]
