"Mark, thank you for the post and the first hand account of Raymond and Harding.
Here is to shining a bright spotlight on the box or jar in the recycling bin and sorting our own trash as well as insisting that we sort our municipal trash before it…"
"I worked at the trash burner downtown at Raymond and Harding streets and I can tell you that they burn everything and anything that goes into the pit. The pit is gigantic and all trash trucks just dump into it, there is no presorting of trash at…"
"I remember Bill Graham, was he a tech major? I can see his face clearly as if I had often contact with him. That is sad about him passing. I am sure it is hard losing a good friend. I remember Joe Collins, or at least the name. Nice to see that you…"
"Wow, how long ago was that? I always go to a Halloween Party the 3rd week of October, so hopefully it won't fall on the 24th, which is ISU homecoming. Keep me posted. My best friend in college was Bill Graham, who passed away two years ago. If…"
I remember Bill Graham, was he a tech major? I can see his face clearly as if I had often contact with him. That is sad about him passing. I am sure it is hard losing a good friend. I remember Joe Collins, or at least the name. Nice to see that you are a stay at home dad. LeAnn Vaught is extremely successful in her career and her husband stays at home with the kids as well. Your kids are cute and little. I have three myself...21, 19 and 17. I am blessed to have wonderful kids. You might remember that I moved to Miami and I moved back 5 years ago. and I remember what a "Halloween Party" nut you are. Remember you dressing up as a girl and coming into the health club?
It's Marti Martin. Remember me? A few months ago seveal ISU buddies contacted me and wanted to set up a reunion for Homecoming this Octoer. In my spare time, I was attempting to contact a few of our group. Although, I didn't know you at ISU...we hung with same people. Leann Vaught, Jenny, Marta(the other one) Sheri Hubble, Ann Marie.. etc. Some I don't know remember last names. If you would be interesting in chatting...email at my purdue address-- msyed@purdue or my AOL account. Martasyed@aol.com--it would be nice to hear from you!
I have been forever collecting the plastic mesh bags that hold produce — mostly apples, limes, lemons, etc. I keep thinking my kids could make the best fishing nets out of them if needed. This is probably just a bad side effect from watching too much Doomsday Preppers
