As a member of Greener Indiana and a NWI resident, I thought you might be interested in the PCBA Green Homes on Parade in the first NAHB Certified Green Community in the country.

Go to www.pcbaonline.com for more information.

While at that site, check out the 2nd Living Green Expo we’re holding in conjunction with IVY TECH this fall. We’re looking for a wide range of representatives from the community for participation.

If you’d like more information or to be involved, e-mail me at jackgiven@comcast.net

Hello Rollo,
It’s an honor to you with, thank you for becoming a member of www.AGreenerIndiana.com, you are most welcome here. Please feel free to make it your own, invite your friends, and contribute to the site.

A Greener Indiana is an organization that provides an statewide support system and network for organizations, businesses, and citizen stakeholders propelling the paradigm and working towards sustainability.

Please respect this space and forum we offer the community by demonstrating value and respect in regards to each other and our common work. We have created several help documents to help you get the most out of www.AGreenerIndiana.com and the resources and services it offers.

1- Check out the getting started guide HERE

2- There are many ways to communicate and each way has it’s advantages. Check out the different ways you can communicate on the site HERE

3- If you are having any other problems be sure to look at our help section HERE

Your expertise is needed on this site! How can you help? How can we help you? Is there a particular arena or field we could help empower you with? Please post up your experiences, programs, products, and purposes. Paint a face and present your vision to the community. AGI's members are specialists in many areas and AGI has a staff that is able to offer full support and assistance. What do you need? If you have a question or a request DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK! Please feel free to complete the circle and link www.AGreenerIndiana.com on your site!

The idea here is to support you in helping to support communities and Indiana as a whole to make the change over to more sustainable practices.... To help everybody learn how they can improve all of the little things so that together we make a BIG DIFFERENCE. We believe everyone can do something to make a greener Indiana.

There are many groups you can join on www.AGreenerIndiana.com. Besides the resource based environmental arenas of: Land, Water, Air, Energy, Policy, and Advocacy there are many ways to go green. Sustainability requires a mutual economic, social-political, and environmental equilibrium and is interconnected to many arenas within the multi-facets of society. If there isn’t a group representing your arena or organization, CREATE ONE! Together we rise…

Share your experience among the members Invite your neighbors. There are many features this site offers and more soon to come. Chat around, friend up like minded individuals, post, blog, make and form groups. These are just some of the ways in which you may interact and utilize this site to further your work, connect with, and develop community.

Kudos to you for participating in this great work!

Net gain

Hello, Renee!

I have been forever collecting the plastic mesh bags that hold produce — mostly apples, limes, lemons, etc.  I keep thinking my kids could make the best fishing nets out of them if needed. This is probably just a bad side effect from watching too much Doomsday Preppers

Hi, Trying to do better,

Metal recyclers, like RecycleForce, will gladly take hangers. If you have curbside pickup, [...]
