Hey Ron!

Well, I haven't been doing the primitive living as much lately, but always good to start fires (actual and metaphorically). i actually have quite a lot of fire making materials collected....if you are in need of a fire by friction kit let me know! I think it would be very cool to do a primitive float trip where one would camp along the way doing up fire and food the oldway.

I’ve used the recycling bins located in the parking lot of Sam’s Club on 86th Street for several years. I went to drop off recycling this morning, and all the bins were gone. Can you tell me if they’ve been relocated, and if so, where?

Where do you recycle just plain old, regular alkaline batteries?

Interstate Batteries has eight locations in Indiana that will accept all types of batteries for recycling. Their web site claims that they actually recycle more batteries than they sell!
