Profile Information

About Me:
Undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Clemson University. From a sixth generation heritage of farmers. Masters and Doctoral work in Theology, the two came together when I became the Sustainable and Urban Agriculture Consultant to the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. Former Board of Directors member of the American Community Gardening Association. Very active in Food Security Work and Co-founder of the Food Security Partners of Middle Tennessee. Passionate about building local food systems! My Dissertation is 2/3 finished entitled: Sustainability is the Theological Issue of the Century. Most of my work built around building food secure communities are built around education, seminars, and networking with other organizations and people that will create an effective and responsible system to address food insecurity.

My employer regularly disposes of pallets by crushing them in the dumpster.  Please tell me where these can be reused/recycled?  We are located on the south side of Hamilton County.  Thanks for your help with this.
