About Me:
Well...where to begin where to begin...
My name is Trishden, I live in Columbia City, IN, with my husband Derek and our two lovely dog children in a tiny house in the middle of some pretty giant fields of food. I am, and always have been very into nature and animals...the Earth and all it has to offer. I have been saddened a lot in life by the constant abuse the Earth goes through in unnecessary massive amounts. I understand that in order for me, as a human, to live on this Earth...I have to kill other living beings smaller than I...that includes plants and all the little critters who live in our pillows and on our skin...etc. I know all of that cannot be avoided...but the things in life that can be, I strive to someday live in such a way that helps me to get to that point where I am causing minimal damage to my home and it's habitants. I also wish for all my fellow Earthlings to do the same.
I have many passions...too many to sit here and type out for you all to see and read through. I am a friendly person with a lot of love, life and energy to share. Do please feel free to talk at me anytime at all. I am here, and ready to share and willing ALWAYS to learn.
I have some hobbies, that include being an activist for many purposes that mean something to me (animals, plant based diets, recycling/reusing etc), I am an artist of many forms (painting, writing, sculpting, singing, acting etc), playing with my dog children hehehe, loving on my husband...which is my favorite thing to do...he's the best, relaxing with a good book or a good friend, spending as much time outdoors in nature as I can...and so much more. Honestly...just ask...or chat at me, if you want to know me. It's the easiest way to get to know me. Oh yeah...and I'm a little bit nuts in the head at times...just go with it. Laugh...you know it's funny...hell, I laugh more than any sane person...trust me. Makes for good times.

Be safe and smile.
Much love.

You will not be wierded out by not knowing anyone...I am going to be at the tent (main area) most of the time. I have to be a greeter for everyone coming up to the "open-non-house". Bring a box and the dog will guard them! She really does love kitties!

Greetings! YES - If you still have kittens...bring them to Earth Day on April 19th - I AM SURE we can give them a GREAT home from all the volunteers! Wanna see YOU too!

Nice to read about people who sound like myself. Real people with a big zest for life in a very small place on Earth. Mother is still treating us well but she needs cleansing like all of us. I want to extend an invitation to work on river work with me. We are putting together a greenhouse, riparian projects on the riverbanks and preparing for spring. Are you in Fort Wayne often? If so, I will meet you almost anytime for coffee. K - I am actively working to make everything better for the future, come along. call me 417-2500

Thank you for becoming a member of AGI, you are most welcome here. Feel free to make it your place and invite your friends to take a look and see what they think. Hopefully they will join the site and participate!

A Greener Indiana is an organization and online community who’s purpose is to support other organizations, businesses, and citizens who contribute to sustainability and want to join the movement of heralding the green paradigm in Indiana.
Please respect this space and forum we offer the community by demonstrating value and respect in regards to each other and our common work.
We have created several help documents so to help you get the most out of www.AGreenerIndiana.com.

1- Check out the getting started guide HERE

2- There are many ways to communicate and each way has it’s advantages. Check out the different ways you can communicate on the site HERE

3- If you are having any other problems be sure to look at our help section HERE

Your expertise is needed on this site! What are your strong points in environmental awareness? What are your curiosities? Is there a particular arena or field we could help empower you with? AGI's members are specialists in many areas and AGI has a staff that is able to offer full support and assistance in environmental work and issues, community and economic development, advertising, promotions, web design, and programming. If you have a question or a request. DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK!

The idea here is to support you in helping to support communities and Indiana as a whole to make the change over to more sustainable practices.... To help everybody learn how they can improve all of the little things so that together we make a BIG DIFFERENCE.

There are many groups you can join on www.AGreenerIndiana.com. Besides the resource based environmental arenas of: Land, Water, Air, Energy, Policy, and Advocacy, there are many other groups that are interconnected to sustainability and the green paradigm including recreation, health/wellness, agriculture, building and design, community development, economic development, products, arts, humanities and many more.

You can share your awareness and activities in any of the above through the many facets this site offers and more soon to come. Chat around, friend up like minded individuals, post, blog, make and form groups. These are just some of the ways in which you may interact and utilize this site to further your work and explore your greener passions.

We are all in this together and together we can help make things better.

Kudos to you for participating in this great work!
