Profile Information

About Me:
I run on solar energy and I love being a part of a new environmental movement. This ain't your parents' environmentalism, folks! We're paving the way for a post-carbon, nature-based educating, rooftop gardening and beekeeping, community-uplifting society, and we need your help.

I am currently the Outreach Intern for the Porter County Izaak Walton League of America. I find that outdoor education, particularly place-based education, is my career passion, and luckily, my pathway thus far. I also dabble in environmental writing, and hope to incorporate it more into my career as an educator and conservationist in the future. I am looking for a great Environmental Education master's program, so if you have one to suggest, please do not hesitate!

I have also recently started as the Local Food Coordinator for Fresh Taste Aquaponics, which means I'll be bringing fresher, healthier food to the Central Illinois region and helping to promote Aquaponics and community-supported agriculture through marketing and educational trips.
