Neighbor Power!

A large part of sustainability or 'green' is about localism. Think about it, in Indiana you conserve fuel by shopping local and making fewer trips. Green building starts with how a building is placed on its site and the use of locally available materials. Alternative energy, at a consumer level, can involve photo-voltaic panels or wind turbines on your property. Water conservation can be about rain barrels or rain gardens; place-specific efforts.
