IURC investigates electric utilities' tree trimming practices

Two citizen lobbyists have garnered legislative hearings and an investigation by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission regarding how electric utilities trim trees and work on private property. No Tear Salsa

The sad truth is that until today I cried when making salsa. Whether, I chilled or rinsed the onion my eyes would swell, turn red and run like a river down my cheeks. That is until I found goggles. Skip the boiling water step and freeze your tomatoes to remove the skin. Use solar power to thaw until the tomato is slightly tender .

Deadly tomato disease detected in Indiana

Already found in states from Maine to Ohio, late blight, a devastating fungus disease, has been detected in Bartholomew, Tippecanoe and Vermillion counties in Indiana.

The disease was likely brought in on hundreds of thousands of Bonnie Plant plants, sold through Lowe's and Home Depot stores throughout the eastern United States.
