Nearly all power plants have similar ponds to the one that burst in Tennessee

Nearly all coal fired electric plants have giant ash ponds, designed similarly to the one that burst in Tennessee this week. This picture shows Vectren's AB Brown powerplant n the Vanderburgh/Posey County line in SW Indiana.





This picture shows Duke's Gallagher plant in New Albany, IN just across the Ohio river from Louisville.
