A Greener Indiana

Everybody can do something to make a greener Indiana

Food Day in Indianapolis October 24, 2011

On October 24, 2011 we went to the Indy Food Day event and had a great time.  There was a lot of good locally grown food to enjoy and lots of nice people to talk to.  There were 5 great speakers and plenty of time for discussions.  It made for an enjoyable evening.

We brought White Bean Pot Roast (vegan) from www.U-Relish.com.

The White Bean Pot Roast was a big hit.  All we had to do was throw the contents into the crock pot, add water, and 6 hours later people were eating it at the pot luck dinner.

There were several great speakers.  Many thanks to the Indy Food, Farm, and Family Coalition and others for putting on this great event.
