A Greener Indiana

Everybody can do something to make a greener Indiana

Change your thinking and lead the thought revolution. Let’s vote with our dollars and show that we buy locally and with a green conscious. Really, everybody can do something to make the world greener.

Limit how far you go to shop. Choose to patronize the store owners who are your neighbors and community members. City Markets, cooperatives, thrift store, antique stores are all great places to start to look for that perfect item that one of a kind gift. Selecting energy efficient, no battery, low tech or eco-friendly products require our imagination and our creative expression, while reducing the environmental impact.

Giving something intangible like an experience, membership or consumable, by making this decision we can support our libraries, museums, and cultural attractions that need your greenbacks to keep our creative talent employed and adding the cultural landscapes.
