Heat, Drought and Water Conservation - The May Green Hour

Heat, Drought and Water Conservation - The May Green Hour

The May Green Hour - Tuesday, May 21st - 6pm at Black Acre Brewing Co. - 5632 E Washington, Indianapolis 46219

Remember last summer when severe heat and drought led the City of Indianapolis and many neighboring cities and towns to impose water restrictions? These actions amounted to a culture shock for many of our friends and neighbors. Unfortunately though, in some parts of the country sustained drought and water restrictions have become the norm.

This month the Irvington Green Initiative will continue to bring the greenest Indianapolis has to offer by presenting Matt Klein. Matt is the Director of Resource Planning for Citizens Energy Group.

Do you want to learn more about water conservation? Are you curious about water resource policy in Indiana? Matt has been involved in environmental resource management policy at the City, State and Utility level for nearly 15 years.

Join us, bring a friend and help us celebrate sustainability in business, congregations, neighborhoods, homes and lives.

Local and Social; an hour of Green with Friends and Neighbors.

Brought to you by Spotts Garden Service, Irvington Development Organization and the Irvington Green Initiative.

It has been pointed out to me that our post concerning tomorrow night's Green Hour contains a typographical error.

The 2nd paragraph above should read: "This month the Irvington Green Initiative will continue to bring the greenest Indianapolis has to offer by presenting Matt Klein. Matt is the former Director of Resource Planning for Citizens Energy Group."

I apologize for any confusion this oversight may have caused.
