Everybody can do something to make a greener Indiana

State's utilities must change their tree trimming practices

The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission issued new rules and regulations on Nov. 30, 2010, regarding how utility companies trim trees on private property. Here's the release and a link to the 111-page complete ruling.

This so reminds me of the fiasco regarding Asplundh(outside contractor hired by AEP/IMP) here in Fort Wayne, and the crews they hire, to butcher, not manage, thousands of trees.
I also worked for the only tree nursery company in town that was accepting reimbursement vouchers to buy a new tree, doled out to the minions that had their trees so unceremoniously chopped, or butchered by AEP/IMP.
Talking about getting an earful of angry, depressed, bitter diatribe from customers daily, directed at the tree trimmers themselves, and the utility companies!
