A Greener Indiana

Everybody can do something to make a greener Indiana

The free webinar "Summer of Survival" has inspired me to think about Summer emergency preparations.  Time and distance from any event will enable you to complete tasks to do in advance of impending chaos.  Planning prevents panic, so here is a list to help your hearth and home

Plug in  any Electric Generators

Charge Phones

Complete the Laundry

Bake the Eggs

Hydrate the House with Citrus Peel Water

Sterilize Jars and prepare for food canning without electricity

Prepare fire place (Move wood supply to dry space)

Ready the propane kitchen

Fill Hand Sanitation Water Stations (includes hand soap refilling)

Prepare LED Lanterns

Flashlights in place and distributed throughout home.

Ready Flameless Candles throughout home

Prepare freezer with extra ice bags

Emergency Toilet Plan

Emergency Laundry Plan  (Manual Wash Board and Temporary Sink in place)

Bug out Bag or 72 hour crash kit packed and at the ready

Prepare Wet Weather Gear
