Hi, Kris! Sorry I didn't respond - I didn't know I would get messages here!

We bought the wind turbine from a man in Wisconsin, and he had local help in installing it. It has become quite a sore subject, though. It hasn't been working since October, because we can't get him out here to fix it. Eric Cotton (bless his heart!) has taken on the job now, but it's been slow going this winter, with no breaks in the weather. We never really set out to be environmentally-minded folks, but we just have kind of worked our way into more and more areas - but there is always room to improve! Have a great day!

Hi Kris! Thanks for the add! I really like your message! You need to keep me posted on events so I can come to Valpo! I have never been there.

Wow -what a tricked out page! I have the story of stuff on my website too!
www.savemaumee.org! You have the world water monitoring story as your first...I LOVE THAT! I also am enjoying the ideasinfo for renewable energy, that is a very big problem that will eventually harm us all..one way or another, renewable and sustainable are going to be the only way to go, glad we are on the boat together! Let me know if you need anything, are you in Ft. Wayne?

Green power!

Hi Renee,

What do you think of IPL’s Green Power Option and non-local programs like PearEnergy as tools to reduce the use of fossil fuels?

Thank you,

Tom

Hi Tom,

Before I dive into a long-winded answer to your question, in short, I like the Green Power Option and other [...]

Make like a tree …

Renee

While walking in the neighborhood after weeding yesterday, an Ask Renee question came to mind: Upon moving to Indy from the east coast, I was surprised to see leaves on the curb in plastic bags.  Neighbors assured me that as long as the leaves are put on the curb [...]

Public Greens to open in November

A whole new kind of restaurant is about to hit the Monon in Broad Ripple in what has been, until a few months ago, a squatter-occupied empty building owned by the Indy Parks Department. Patachou Inc. founder Martha Hoover, whose company also operates Napolese, Petite Chou, and of [...]
