Everybody can do something to make a greener Indiana

Ravenswood Media produced this program for the Great Lakes Protection Fund. The Asian carp invasion of the Mississippi River basin is an ecological disaster. The only thing worst is if they reach the Great Lakes. All that separates them from the Great Lakes watershed is an electrical barrier in the Cal-Sag canal.

A very timely topic. Yesterday's Chicago news was focusing on carp in Chicago's sanitary canal, as they had to shut off the electrified grid they built to keep carp out of the Great Lakes for maintenence. Canada, Michigan, and others are very worried about these fish.
